Our volunteers make a difference and ensure our clients feel welcomed and loved. We have opportunities for you to help during:
restocking pantry shelves, picking up donated groceries from church groups etc., preparing for distribution days, working on distribution days, donation days, and special events like our Thanksgiving Lunch, Food for Families days, Food Drive days.
Assist with Life Skills with SISD
Do you love teaching? Heart and Hands Ministries works with Salado Independent School District to assist in teaching life skills classes.
Food for Families Food Drive
Support your local community by volunteering at our Food for Families Food Drive. Partnered with Brookshire Brothers – Salado, the Boy Scouts, and KWTX News 10. Together with food pantries all across Central Texas, this one-day food drive collects non-perishable food and stocks the shelves of area food banks and pantries beyond the holiday season. Don’t have time to volunteer? We are also accepting non-perishable food donations.
